There are several people here at DA, some I've known for many years and others I've only known for one or two years, whose kind words, encouragement, support and all-around awesomeness have had a massively positive influence on me as an artist and as a human being in general. My features in the weeks to come are my love letters to these amazing DA artists.

...It's that or find out where they live and then stand outside their bedroom windows at inappropriate hours while holding a giant boombox over my head. :XD:

If you don't already know these fabulous people then I sincerely hope that someday you get to experience and enjoy their friendship as much as I do.

*These features will be in no particular order and I plan on posting a new feature every other week.*

:iconkissingplz: Friend Crush - Feature #4

For my fourth feature I give you...*drum roll*:icongi-ace::heart:

=GI-Ace is another talented artist that I met thanks to the wonderful Supernatural fandom! From sketches to finished art her line work is so expressive and I adore reading the back stories to her original characters.

Enjoy!

no probs! it wasn't a silly question. :)

i usually start with muddy colours and then layer on more saturated colours as i go. i discovered in my many attempts at painting skin that the layering makes all difference in achieving more realistic skin tones. :D
